West Red Lake Gold Mines has filed the independent technical report supporting its updated mineral resource estimate for the Rowan project in northwestern Ontario, which carries 335,058 indicated ounces of gold at 13.04 g/t across 798,989 tonnes, plus 179,029 inferred ounces at 15.31 g/t from 363,602 tonnes.

The report, dated July 22, 2026 with an effective date of June 1, 2026, also contains a maiden estimate for the nearby Mount Jamie deposit of 49,740 indicated ounces at 14.02 g/t and 36,727 inferred ounces at 12.10 g/t. Combined, the two deposits total roughly 600,000 ounces across both categories.

Grade is the headline number at both deposits, but tonnage is small: Mount Jamie's indicated resource sits in just 110,385 tonnes, with 94,394 tonnes in the inferred category.

The estimates were prepared by Sims Resources, LLC and Fuse Advisors Inc., both independent consultants. Rowan was estimated at a cutoff grade of 2.00 g/t gold, Mount Jamie at 3.80 g/t, and both used a gold price assumption of US$3,200 per ounce and a density of 2.78 g/cm³.

The filing follows the company's initial disclosure of the numbers on June 9, 2026. West Red Lake Gold says the differences between that release and the completed report are non-material, arising from final reconciliation, rounding conventions, and the use of proportional rather than whole blocks in the model. Most line items moved slightly higher as a result.

An important qualifier sits in the report's notes: no mineral reserves have been estimated for either deposit. Under Canadian disclosure rules, resources that are not reserves have not been shown to be economically viable, and inferred material is described in the report as conceptual, based on limited geological evidence, with no guarantee it can be upgraded to a higher confidence category.

The technical information in the release was reviewed by Will Robinson, the company's vice president of exploration and its qualified person for the West Red Lake project. Robinson is not independent of the company; the underlying resource work was done by the two outside firms.

West Red Lake Gold, listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and quoted on OTCQX, describes the Madsen Mine as its flagship asset and says it recently reached commercial production there. The Rowan property covers 31 square kilometres and contains three former producing mines — Rowan, Mount Jamie and Red Summit. The company positions Rowan as a source of future production growth, though the release gives no development timeline, capital estimate or economic study for either deposit.
