Filament Health, the clinical-stage drug developer acquired by Red Light Holland Corp., has agreed to supply its botanical psilocybin drug candidate PEX010 to a pilot study in military veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder run by the ARQ National Psychotrauma Centre in Diemen, the Netherlands.

The study is titled "Psilocybin-Assisted Psychotherapy for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder in Military Veterans: A Pilot Feasibility Study." PEX010 will serve as the investigational drug product. A feasibility study of this kind is designed to test whether a treatment protocol can be delivered as intended, not to prove that it works.

The announcement contains no dollar value, no volume and no timeline for the supply arrangement. Red Light Holland did not say whether the agreement generates revenue, and academic supply agreements of this type are frequently at or near cost. Readers should treat the agreement as a research supply arrangement rather than a commercial order until the company discloses terms.

According to the release, PEX010 has now been supplied to more than 80 academic and clinical studies worldwide. The company describes it as one of the most widely studied botanical psilocybin candidates in regulated clinical research; that characterisation comes from the company, not an independent source.

The arrangement follows Red Light Holland's completed acquisition of Filament Health, which the company says adds pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing, regulatory and clinical research capability to a business previously centred on psilocybin truffle sales in the Netherlands' legal market and mushroom home-grow kits sold through business-to-business and direct-to-consumer channels. The release does not quantify the acquisition consideration, any shares issued for it, or the combined company's cash position.

Chief executive Todd Shapiro tied the study to veteran mental health. "Veteran suicide is something that breaks my heart," he said, adding that he hoped the supply agreement "can lead to wider opportunities to increase access to PEX010 for Veterans and the clinicians working to give them new and effective options."

ARQ describes itself as the Netherlands' leading psychotrauma institute, combining prevention, diagnosis, treatment, research and education. Its specialised centre, ARQ Centrum '45, treats complex and treatment-resistant psychotrauma cases, including veterans.

What the disclosure does not address is what a micro-cap investor would need to size the impact: the cost of supplying the study, Filament's cash burn, share count after the acquisition, and whether any of the more than 80 studies cited has translated into recurring booked revenue. Regulatory permits, including import and export authorisations for a controlled substance, are listed by the company itself as a condition for supply proceeding as planned.
