The split was announced on August 13. The company filed an amendment to its restated certificate of incorporation with the State of Delaware and said the change took effect at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on August 17. Shares continued trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the existing ticker symbol PFSA, but with a new CUSIP number, 74319X405.

Under the terms of the consolidation, every four shares of common stock outstanding before the opening of trading on August 17 were combined into one share. Par value per share was unchanged at $0.0001. Stockholders who would otherwise have been entitled to a fractional share received a cash payment in lieu.

The company said the reverse split reduced shares outstanding from 2,422,906 to approximately 605,726. The number of authorized shares of common stock remains at 601 million.

The free float on the session was 604,359 shares, equal to 11.3% of shares outstanding. Short volume was 490,128 shares, representing 55.93% of reported volume on the same session.
