LogProstyle builds and sells homes in Tokyo. It has now agreed to buy an Osaka firm to enter the Kansai market, where it has not previously operated.
On August 27, the company signed an agreement to acquire all 3,800 issued and outstanding shares of I-FLATZ, a condominium sales and leasing firm headquartered in Osaka City, from its sole owner, Toshihide Suzuki. I-FLATZ is itself the sole shareholder of LAND-I Co., so the deal pulls both companies under LogProstyle's control. The price is about JPY 612 million, according to the 6-K filed with the SEC that day. Closing is targeted for September 30, 2026.
I-FLATZ built its business selling new condominiums in the Kansai region before expanding into the resale of renovated pre-owned apartments and real estate leasing, according to LogProstyle's own IR page. LogProstyle says it wants to bring the business model it has developed in the Tokyo area into that region through this acquisition — giving it a revenue base outside the market it already knows.
Suzuki will step down as representative director of I-FLATZ after closing but stays on the board. He departs both his roles at LAND-I entirely. A non-compete takes effect once he leaves. LogProstyle has agreed to release him from personal guarantees he gave on I-FLATZ's existing bank loans within two months of closing; until that is done, the company has agreed to handle any claims those creditors bring against him directly.
Shares closed 74.85% higher at $1.5200 after the announcement, on dollar volume of about $57.7 million. The free float is about 6.3 million shares — roughly a quarter of shares outstanding — and short volume on the session was 59.12% of reported volume.
If the deal has not closed by December 31, 2026, either party may terminate the agreement.
