An unnamed gaming publisher agreed to pay Cyabra a **six-figure annual fee** to watch its player community for fake accounts, coordinated campaigns, and manufactured reviews — activity that, the company says, can shape how a game is received before most players have formed their own opinion.

Cyabra, Inc. NASDAQ: CYAB

Cyabra announced the deal on August 28\. Under the agreement, the company says its managed service will monitor social and digital platforms on the publisher's behalf and flag inauthentic behavior at scale. The client's name was not disclosed in the release.

For Cyabra, the deal is evidence that commercial buyers are starting to spend on what has until now been mostly a government and defense market. The contract's exact value sits somewhere in the six-figure range; the release does not narrow it further, and no revenue figures are provided.

Shares **closed 45.36% higher at $0.4467** on August 30, on dollar volume of **about $99 million**. Short volume on the session was **53.88% of reported volume**.

The announcement came roughly two months after Gartner included Cyabra in the inaugural edition of its Emerging Market Quadrant for narrative intelligence — which Gartner described, according to the company's release, as the first time it formally defined that market category.

Cyabra's CEO, Dan Brahmy, said in the release that gaming is "one of the most consequential and increasingly important environments" for coordinated manipulation. The company says the deal is the latest in a series of high-profile customer wins — but **has not named any of them**.
